Getting traffic to your site starts with what is listed in the search results displayed in Bing. Bing webmaster tools can help you with this stride. The first step in making your site online and getting better rankings in Bing and Yahoo is to submit your Sitemap to bingwebmastertools. Eventually search engines will find your site, but this process will help you quickly.

When you submit a sitemap, it can take several days for the search engine to index the page. Do not write this because the results may be different. Elements like other websites that point to a site can also affect this time. After submitting your website URL. But now that Yahoo has gotten in touch with Microsoft's Bing search engine, it's much easier for Microsoft to do it because when Bing submits a blog, it will be active in two search engines, Bing and Yahoo. Until now, MSN was not a required sitemap and we were only able to submit the link via Ping, but Microsoft is now following Google's approach by replacing the MSN search engine with the latest BING.

Google will automatically add the sitemap file to the root directory and update instructions for submitting sitemaps to bing and yahoo based on the new update.

  1. Sign in to Bing Webmaster Tools (using Hotmail or a live account)
  2. Once logged in, go to Goto >> My Site Configuration.
  3. Click Sitemap.
  4. You will see options like the screenshot below.
  5. Delete the old rss feed sitemap. If you do not skip this step, run it with the old rss sitemap.

Before submitting, make sure that your sitemap directory works well by opening the sitemap.xml directory and opening it in your browser. Paste the tested site map directory link into the input field and click the Submit button.

Click Submit to redirect the page from the confirmation page. On the confirmation page, there are three standard methods. Select the second option, "Copy and paste tags to your main web page." It is very easy and recommended. Therefore, open the <head> tag (inside the Blogger template), copy the meta tag, and paste the copied tag.

1. When you go to Blogger Dashboard >> Template >> HTML Edit, a confirmation meta tag will be added just below the <head> tag at the top.

2. Finally, click the Save button (the orange button in the top right corner).

3. Return to Bing Webmaster Tools and click the "OK" button. If you enter the verification code correctly, the Sitemap will be added to the list.

The initial state is pending. After Bing fetches and processes the sitemap, Bing Webmaster Tools will update the status and other details such as the number of URLs found. Processing a submitted sitemap takes time and can take from hours to days. Typically, Bing and Yahoo will take up to three days to display data from newly submitted sites, but it may take five days.
